The production team for the Ishura TV anime series has revealed additional voice cast members that will be joining the show. A premiere date for the anime, as well as information on the production staff and animation studio, have not yet been revealed. Disney+ will exclusively stream the series worldwide.
The three new cast members include Aoi Yuuki as Kia the World Word, Mamiko Noto as Elea the Red Tag, and Rie Takahashi as Nihilo the Vortical Stampede.
They join a voice cast that so far features Yuuki Kaji as Soujirou the Willow-Sword, Reina Ueda as Yuno the Distant Talon, Jun Fukuyama as Ars the Star Rider, Akio Ootsuka as Hargent the Silencer, Romi Park as Taren the Punished, Souichirou Hoshi as Dakai the Magpie, Sora Amamiya as Curte of the Fair Skies, and Shoutarou Morikubo as Regnejee the Wings of Sunset.
A new video and additional information about the Ishura anime series will be revealed on July 16, 2023 in a special online program streamed exclusively on ABEMA. It will be part of Dengeki Bunko’s 30th Anniversary celebration.

The anime is based on the action fantasy light novels, written by Keiso and illustrated by Kureta. It began as a web novel in Kakuyomu and Shousetsuka ni Narou on June 30, 2017. The light novels were then published under Kadokawa’s Dengeki no Shinbungei label on September 17, 2019, with seven volumes released as of February 2023.
The light novel series won Kono Light Novel ga Sugai 2021’s tankoubon/novels category and inspired a manga adaptation by Meguri in 2021.
Yen Press releases the Ishura light novels in English and describes the series as:
