The I’m in Love With The Villainess anime adaptation has released a “Claire ver.” key visual.
The yuri show is set for an October premiere.
I’m in Love With The Villainess began as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel by Inori in 2018. Five digital volumes were published from 2015 to 2019 under Ainaka’s yuri-centric GL Bunko label. In 2021, Ichijinsha began publishing the series in physical form under the title of I’m in Love With The Villainess: Revolution, with three volumes released as of December 2022. The manga adaptation, also published by Ichijinsha, began earlier in 2020.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes both the light novels and manga in English. It describes the former as:
Ordinary office worker Ohashi Rei wakes up in the body of the protagonist of her favorite otome game, Revolution. To her delight, the first person to greet her is also her favorite character, Claire Francois—the main antagonist of the story! Now, Rei is determined to romance Claire instead of the game’s male leads. But how will her villainous ladylove react to this new courtship?!
The anime features the same main staff as the 2022 Love of Kill anime adaptation, including Hideaki Ooba as director, Ayumu Hisao as series composer and scriptwriter, and Youko Satou as character designer. As with Love of Kill, Platinum Vision is the animation production company. The music composers are Mazica Party‘s Noriyuki Asakura and Usagi to Uma.
Meanwhile, the cast includes:
• Yuu Serizawa as Rei Taylor
• Karin Nanami as Claire Francois
• Aimi as Missha
• Ikumi Hasegawa as Reina
• Sara Matsumoto as Loretta
• Minami Kurisaka as Pipi
