Tower Records Café announced that it is once again collaborating with the Bungo Stray Dogs anime series. The theme of the collaboration is based on American diners and will feature various entrée and drink menu items, anime merchandise, and in-store displays and decorations.
The collaboration event will be held at Tower Records Café locations in Omotesando and Osaka Station City, running from August 17, 2023 to September 10, 2023.
Customers can buy advance e-tickets priced at 800 yen per ticket (US$5.57) and will receive a 500 yen meal coupon and special sticker. The first sticker design will be available between August 17, 2023 to August 29, 2023. The second sticker design will be available between August 30, 2023 to September 10, 2023. Customers will need to first register for a free Ticket Pia membership to buy the advance tickets.
The amount of menu items that can be ordered is dependent on the amount of money spent on the tickets. The system is as follows:
- • 800 yen (US$5.58) spent allows for the order of up to one entrée item, one dessert item, and three drinks.
- • 1,600 yen (US$11.17) spent allows for the order of up to two entrée items, two dessert items, and six drinks.
- • 2,400 yen (US$16.75) spent allows for the order of up to three entrée items, three dessert items, and nine drinks.
- • 3,200 yen (US$22.33) spent allows for the order of up to four entrée items, four dessert items, and 12 drinks.
Additionally, one random postcard will be given to people for each menu item that is ordered. The first five postcard set will be available from August 17, 2023 to August 29, 2023. The second set of five postcards will be given away from August 30, 2023 to September 10, 2023.
All prices for each menu item includes tax and their availability is limited. The full menu includes:
Atsushi Nakajima “American Over Rice”

Ingredients: saffron rice, tandoori chicken, avocado, sunny lettuce, tomato, pickles, black sesame mayonnaise, mayonnaise, and onion dressing.
Ryunosuke Akutagawa Cheese-Stuffed Black Burger
Price: 1,680 yen (US$11.72)
Ingredients: black buns, cheese-stuffed hamburger, red onion, tomato, sunny lettuce, teriyaki sauce, French fries, and ketchup.
Osamu Dazai Baked Cheesecake
Price: 1,480 yen (US10.33)
Ingredients: baked cheesecake, condensed milk cream, strawberry, whipped cream, orange sauce, powdered sugar, and mint.
Kyoka Izumi Skillet Crepe
Price: 1,480 yen (US10.33)
Ingredients: Crepe dough, whipped cream, strawberry, banana, vanilla ice cream, strawberry sauce, mint, alazan (dragee), and powdered sugar.
Chuya Nakahara Crepe Sundae

In addition, two special canned drinks will be made available for takeout at the Tower Records Café Omotesando and Osaka Station City location. Each can will cost 980 yen (US$6.82), with tax.
The first drink is based on the Armed Detective Agency, made out of blue jelly, cherry, and lactic acid milk. The second drink is based on the Port Mafia group and is made out of black lemon jelly and cranberry juice.
Meanwhile, starting on August 17, 2023, limited edition original collaboration goods will also be sold at both Tower Records Café locations, as well as the Tower Records online website. Taxes are included with the price of each merchandise, which are as follows:
