Supernatural anime Dark Gathering has received a new, spirit-infested trailer and visual ahead of its second cour, which begins on October 1 (effectively October 2 at 1:05 AM JST) in Japan.
Dark Gathering debuted its first cour on July 9 (effectively July 10 at 1:05 AM JST) in Japan, with HIDIVE, Prime Video, Muse Asia, and iQIYI streaming overseas. The anime is based on the Shueisha-published manga by Kenichi Kondou, which began serialization in Jump Square in 2019 and has 13 tankoubon volumes as of August 2023.

The OLM -produced anime is produced by Hiroshi Ikehata (Tonikawa: Over The Moon For You) with Shigeru Murakoshi (Management of a Novice Alchemist) as series composer and Shinya Segawa (Garakowa – Restore the World) as main character designer. The music is composed by KOHTA YAMAMOTO (Attack on Titan Final Season co-composer), Shun Narita (Ippon Again!), and Yuusuke Seo.
Meanwhile, the cast includes Yuu Sasahara as Yayoi Hozuki, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Keitaro Gentoga, Kana Hanazawa as Eiko Hozuki, and Rina Kawaguchi as Ai Kamiyo.
