The upcoming Girls und Panzer das Finale — Part 4 movie has released a “non-stop action” trailer that makes its previous promotional videos feel like a calm stroll.

Aside from living up to its name, the trailer delivers footage of a fast and furious action sequence in which multiple tanks speed down a precipitous, snowy mountainside while blasting away at one another. To hammer the point in, there’s a caption proclaiming that the movie features the Girls und Panzer franchise’s speediest tank battles.

Girls und Panzer das Finale is a six-part theatrical series that serves as a sequel to the Girls und Panzer tank combat sport anime that began in 2012. Part 4 will cover the Winter Continuous Track Cup semi-finals with Oarai Girls Academy facing Jatkosota High School while Kuromorimine Girls Academy battles St. Gloriana Girls College.

Parts 1, 2, and 3 premiered in Japan in December 2017, June 2019, and March 2021, respectively. Girls und Panzer das Finale was preceded by a TV anime series and a 2015 anime movie. The anime has inspired manga, a light novel trilogy, and video games.

ACTUS is the animation production company for Girls und Panzer das Finale — Part 4, with STUDIO Katyusha credited for the CGI. The CGI was originally produced by Graphinica before becoming a co-production with STUDIO Katyusha in Part 2. STUDIO Katyusha became solely credited in Part 3.
