A teaser trailer and main visual have been released for the second season of The Fire Hunter, which begins airing in Japan in January 2024.
The Fire Hunter is based on the fantasy novels written by Rieko Hinata and illustrated by Akihiro Yamada, which began in 2018 and ended in 2020 with four volumes. The anime’s first season ran from January to March of this year with 10 episodes. Crunchyroll describes the show as:
Outside the magical barriers lies a world overrun by fiery beasts known as Flame Demons, and the only ones who can protect humanity are the Fire Hunters. In the dark woods where the beasts roam is where Toko, a young villager, is rescued from attack by one of these skilled trackers, Koshi. But their meeting was no accident, and a new destiny begins.
