Ten new voice cast members are joining the supporting cast of Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy season two. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2024 as two consecutive cours.

The new voice actors join a main cast that includes:

J.C.Staff takes over as the animation production company from C2C for season two. The main staff members from season one such as director Shinji Ishikawa, series screenwriter Kenta Ihara, character designer Yukie Suzuki, and music composer Yasuharu Takanashi are all returning to work on season two.
The first season of Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy aired from July 7, 2021 to September 22, 2021 for a total of 12 episodes.
The original light novel series is written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Mitsuaki Matsumoto. It was first published by AlphaPolis in May 2013 and has released 19 volumes (including a side story volume) as of August 2022. The series began as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel in 2012 and has also inspired a manga by Kotora Kino.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season of Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy worldwide, outside of Japan. It describes the series as:
Makoto Misumi was just an average teenager who suddenly was summoned to another world as a “hero.” But the goddess of this world called him ugly and took his hero status away from him, then sent him to the ends of the world. He meets dragons, spiders, orcs, dwarves, and many other non-human races in the wastelands. Makoto manages to show promise in the use of magic and fighting, which he wouldn’t have been able to do in his former world. He has numerous encounters, but will he be able to survive this new world?
