The Fire Hunter‘s second season has received its first non-teaser trailer, which also reveals a January 14 Japanese premiere for the anime adaptation.
Season 1 ran from January to March of this year with 10 episodes. The anime, which is streamed by Crunchyroll and iQIYI, is based on the fantasy novel series written by Rieko Hinata and illustrated by Akihiro Yamada, which was published between 2018 and 2020 with four volumes.
Crunchyroll describes the show as:
Outside the magical barriers lies a world overrun by fiery beasts known as Flame Demons, and the only ones who can protect humanity are the Fire Hunters. In the dark woods where the beasts roam is where Toko, a young villager, is rescued from attack by one of these skilled trackers, Koshi. But their meeting was no accident, and a new destiny begins.
