The Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise has revealed the addition of its first voice cast member for its upcoming sixth season, Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ. The latest installment in Cardfight!! Vanguard’s D series will premiere in January 2024.
Toshiya Miyata, a member of the Japanese boy band Kis-My-Ft2, is voicing the main character Akina Myodo in Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ.

It was also revealed last November that voice actress Yuuka Nishio is joining the sixth season as an unnamed new character. She previously voiced Yuki Ichidoji on Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days.

More information about the sixth season will be announced during a special production presentation on the series on December 12, 2023.
The current D series is co-produced by Kinema Citrus, Gift Animation, and STUDIO JEMI, with original character designs by CLAMP. Previous entries in the D series include Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress and Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress. The seventh season will premiere sometime in mid 2024. The eighth season will be released around early 2025, and the ninth season will debut in the middle of 2025.

Bushiroad‘s Cardfight!! Vanguard multimedia franchise began with a 2010 trading card game. Before the current D series, there were anime series such as 2011’s Cardfight!! Vanguard, 2014’s Cardfight!! Vanguard G, and 2018’s Cardfight!! Vanguard.
