A new PV trailer has been released for the upcoming Spy x Family Code: White anime film, which will be released in Japan on December 22, 2023 and in theaters worldwide in 2024.
The film will be screened in both Japanese with English subtitles and dubbed in English. In addition to North America, it will also premiere in Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, and select territories in Europe, including Austria, Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, the Nordics, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland.
Spy x Family Code: White features an original standalone story by series creator Tatsuya Endou, who is also the film’s supervisor.
Takashi Katagiri (Spy x Family Season 1’s co-assistant director) is directing the film, with Ichirou Ookouchi (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury) as screenwriter and scriptwriter, Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Spy x Family director) as animation supervisor, and Kazuaki Shimada (Spy x Family series) as character designer. CloverWorks and WIT Studio are in charge of the animation production once again.
Additional staff include Kana Ishida (The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc character designer) as sub-character designer, Kyouji Asano (Season 1) as chief animation director, Satomi Sugimoto (Season 1) as art director, Mayumi Kojima (Season 1 background art staff) as art director, Hanami Tanaka (Season 1 second cour co-color designer) as color designer, Akane Fushihara (Season 1) as compositing director, and (K)NoW_NAME (Season 1) as music producer.
Meanwhile, the voice cast includes Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger, Saori Hayami as Yor Forger, and Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger.
The Spy x Family TV series first premiered in April 2022 and ran for two split cours, with a second season airing in October 2023. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the series outside of Japan.
The original action-comedy manga began serialization on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ on March 25, 2019 and has released 12 tankoubon volumes as of October 2023. A 13th volume will be released on January 4, 2024.
