A new PV trailer has been revealed for the upcoming Snack Basue TV anime series, which is scheduled to premiere on January 12, 2024.
The trailer showcases the many unique personalities that visit the nightly snack bar. It also previewed the anime’s main opening theme “Uraomote Aquarium” by otonari, featuring Ririko and Ryouhei Sataka.
Minoru Ashina (Nights with a Cat, Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Break Time) is directing the anime series and also serving as its series screenwriter, script writer, and art director. Toyama is the anime’s character designer and chief animation director, with Studio PuYUKAI as the animation production company.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes:

The Snack Basue manga series was first serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump on July 13, 2017. Thirteen tankoubon volumes have been released as of June 2023, with a 14th volume set for release in January 2024.

The general story follows the everyday life of staff and customers at the titular Snack Basue establishment, which is nestled near the Kita Nijuuyo-Jou Station in Hokkaido.
