KADOKAWA has released the first full trailer for KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Season 3. It was also announced that the anime sequel will premiere in Japan in April 2024.
KonoSuba is based on the isekai comedy light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima, which ran from 2013 to 2020 with 17 main volumes and two short story anthologies. The first two seasons premiered in 2016 and 2017, while the KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World Legend of Crimson movie was released in 2019. An adaptation of the Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! spin-off aired during the Spring 2023 anime season.

Game loving shut-in Kazuma Sato’s life as a young schoolboy in Japan abruptly comes to an early end…or at least it was supposed to. The earlier seasons were produced by Studio Deen, while the movie was produced by J.C.STAFF. Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! and Season 3 are produced by Drive. The anime has inspired several video games.
The light novels, which are published under the KADOKAWA Sneaker Bunko label, have inspired a manga adaptation by Masahito Watari and several spin-offs. The story began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2012.
