A TV anime adaptation of The Story of An Exploration Hero Who Has Worked His Way Up From Common People (Mob Kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyuu Tan) light novel series is in the works.
The light novels, which are published under the HJ Bunko label, are written by Kaito and illustrated by Arumikku. Volume 1 was published in 2021, and the seventh and latest volume was published in September of this year. The premise involves the appearance of a dungeon in Japan, with the protagonist being an unimpressive high school student who hunts slimes there every day. His fortunes change after he defeats a gold slime and gains a super rare summoning item called the Servant Card.
The Story of An Exploration Hero was originally a web novel published on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2019. The light novel series has inspired a manga adaptation by Terio Teri.
