The manga industry-themed Egao No Taenai Shokuba Desu (A Workplace Where You Can’t Help But Smile) manga is getting a TV anime adaptation which will begin airing in 2025. Voil is the animation production company for the show.
The announcement is featured on the obi of the ninth tankoubon volume, which was released on January 18 JST. Coincidentally, the volume includes the subject of TV anime adaptations.
A commemorative visual by Egao No Taenai Shokuba Desu artist Kuzushiro was also released.
The “working girls comedy” manga series follows a newcomer female manga artist with occasional delusions, her older editor, and her assistant. It is published by Kodansha and began serialization on Comic DAYS in 2019.
