A new original anime film, titled A Few Moments of Cheers (Suufunkan no Yell o), has been revealed with an early summer release date. The movie is a co-production between the Hurray! creative team and 100studio and makes use of the 3DCG software Blender as its main production tool.

A Few Moments of Cheers will follow Kanata Asaya (Natsuki Hanae), a high school student who is hooked on producing music videos. A moving street performance compels him to make a music video for the song, but its singer, Yuu Orie (Mariya Ise, singing voice Kei Sugawara), is a teacher who has given up on music.

The Hurray! trio consists of director Popurika, assistant director Ohajiki, and art director Magotsuki. Among Hurray!’s previous productions, which mainly comprise music videos and other short-form work, is the ending animation sequence for Shikimori’s Not Just A Cutie. A Few Moments of Cheers will be their first theatrical title.

The script comes from Jukki Hanada, the series composer for anime like A Place Further Than The Universe, Bloom into You, and the currently airing Sengoku Youko. VIVI is credited with the song composition for the movie. Bandai Namco Filmworks is handling the distribution.
