The P.A.Works original anime Na-nare Hana-nare has received a character trailer and visual, plus main cast and additional staff information. It was also announced that more details will be revealed on February 8.
Na-nare Hana-nare‘s main voice cast includes:
• Rika Nakagawa as Kanata Misora, a cheerful and lively Takanosaki High first-year who likes cheerleading. She won the national cheerleading competition in middle school and hopes to do the same in high school with her best friend, Megumi Kaionji.
• Yuki Nakashima as Suzuha Obunai, a taciturn, expressionless, and incredibly rational first-year at Sakurajou High. She commutes to school via parkour.
• Larissa Takeda Tago as half-Brazilian Anna Aveiro, a first-year from Omaebashi High, and a moodmaker who isn’t afraid to speak her mind.
• Manaka Iwami as Nodoka Ootani, an Omaebashi High first-year who likes yoga, India, and philosophy. A childhood friend of Anna.
• Moe Kahara as Shion Tanizaki, a sheltered Sakurajou High first-year with impressive parents.
• Miku Itou as Megumi Kaionji, a hard-working girl who was the leader of the cheerleading club in middle school. She had to be hospitalized during a tournament due to illness and is currently in rehabilitation.
Meanwhile, the newly revealed staff members include Nana Miura (Dagashikashi Season 2) as co-character designer, Naomi Nakano (A Sign of Affection) as color designer, Kouhei Asahi (Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 co-compositing director) as compositing director, and Yuusuke Takada (Vinland Saga), Tsukasa Kakizakai (Ao Ashi co-art director), and GK Sales as art directors.
Na-nare Hana-nare was announced last November with Koudai Kakimoto (BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!!) as director and series composer. Kakimoto is also one of the scriptwriters, together with Yuniko Ayana (BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! series composer) and Midori Gotou (BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!!). The character designs are done by Kanami Sekiguchi (Ya Boy Kongming!) based on drafts by Tomomi Takada (Skip and Loafer in-between animation checker). The show is set in Gunma.
