Confectionary maker Lotte recently celebrated the 60th anniversary of its chocolate-making debut with a TRIGGER-produced anime commercial that involved three girls dancing and making chocolate to the tune of Ado‘s new “Chocolat Cadabra” single. 30- and 60-second versions of the commercial were released on January 22, and now, following the release of the song on streaming platforms, the full music video has been uploaded on Ado’s YouTube channel.
The animated short is directed by Yoh Yoshinari (Little Witch Academia creator and director, Brand New Animal director, Cyberpunk Edgerunners character designer, Gurren Lagann mechanical designer) with Chiho Kiyota (Brand New Animal co-art designer) as unit director and sub-character designer. Naoko Tsutsumi (Cyberpunk Edgerunners) is the animation producer.
