Footwear brand Puma is once again teaming up with the One Piece franchise to launch a new shoe collection, based on several characters from the series. The four-shoe collection will be released on March 23, 2024 on Puma’s online website and mobile app.
Puma has also shared photo designs for the new sneakers, with each of them being inspired by the Four Emperors from One Piece. Each sneaker pair will come in full-family sizing, with adult pairs set to be priced at US$85.00.
The collection includes a black and gold shoe featuring Blackbeard’s pirate flag on the tongue tag made from suede and leather. It is designed with chenille-like cloud cutouts referencing Blackbeard’s dark powers.
The all-suede burgundy sneaker is marked with various symbols, carrying the Red Hair Pirates’ logo on its tongue in homage to one of the series’ charismatic crews.
Meanwhile, Buggy also received a red hairy suede colorway shoe design, with a blue wave-like formstrip showing off his adventurous spirit.
Lastly, the gray and white colorway design for Luffy’s Gear 5 form features a cloud-like formstrip and a cozy faux fur lining. There’s also a small gold circular chain strapped to the shoe’s side.
Puma previously collaborated with One Piece in 2019, with a series of shoes designed around its characters and themes. The company also partnered with the Pokémon franchise.
