The I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability anime will begin airing on April 1. The announcement was accompanied by a 15-second commercial and the reveal of a few more cast members.
The voice actors include Shun Horie as Albert, Yuuya Hirose as Dian, Akane Kumada as Alieze, and Eriko Matsui as Shiro.
I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability is based on the Kodansha Ranobe Bunko light novel series written by Kenkyo na Circle and illustrated by Meru. The series started in July 2020 and has seven volumes as of December 2023.
Kodansha USA describes Yousuke Kokuzawa‘s manga adaptation as:
“Lineage,” “aptitude,” and “dedication”… These are essential for sorcery. An ordinary sorcerer who deeply loved sorcery and yet wasn’t blessed with the lineage or aptitude met a violent end. On the verge of his death, he strongly wished that he could’ve studied sorcery more to perfect it. The story was originally a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel that began in October 2019.
