A release date trailer for Gundam Breaker 4 has dropped and reveals that the third-person action game will have its launch on August 29, 2024.

The trailer also lets players lay eyes on new Gunpla like the Gundam Aerial and Darilbalde from Witch of Mercury, the Gundam Helios from Gundam Breaker Mobile and Gundam Breaker Battlogue, the Xi Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, and the RX-93ff ν Gundam. Other previewed features include the SD Gundams and the ability to adjust the scale of each Gunpla part.

Gundam Breaker 4 was announced in February 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, and Steam. It’s the fifth main game in the Gunpla-themed video game series, after 2018’s New Gundam Breaker, and its touted features include the largest amount of launch-day base kits yet (over 250), the ability to dual-wield different weapons, and a diorama mode.

Last week, it was revealed that there will be a Launch Edition of the game for PS5 and Switch. This edition includes the base game, a reversible cover with the North American and Japanese versions of its box art, an exclusive 11×17” poster displaying the “clean version of the gorgeous box art from the EG 1/144 Gunbarrel Strike Gundam (Gundam Breaker Ver.” and lets players unlock the Recirculation Color RX-78-2 Gundam and Builder’s Parts early. Pre-ordered Collector’s and Standard Edition copies will receive an automatic upgrade to the Launch Edition.

Gundam Breaker 4 also has Digital Deluxe and Digital Ultimate Edition versions that come with the game’s Season Pass. The Season Pass offers five story missions and a “bonus” in the form of a set of parts for recreating the Gunbarrel Strike Gundam – Gundam Breaker Ver.
