A third character PV trailer has been released for the upcoming The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army was a Human anime, spotlighting the beautiful demon sorceress Cefiro, who serves as Ike’s superior. The anime series will premiere in Japan in July 2024.
Norihiko Nagahama (I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills) is directing the anime, with Toko Machida (Vampire Dormitory) as series screenwriter, Masami Sueoka (I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills) as character designer, and KOHTA YAMAMOTO (Chained Soldier, Attack on Titan Final Season co-composer) as music composer. Studio A-CAT is handling the animation production.

The original light novels are written by Ryosuke Hata and illustrated by KUMA. It was published by Futabasha from September 30, 2016 to April 27, 2018 for five total volumes under the Monster Bunko label. The series began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro that was first released on February 22, 2016.
A manga adaptation by Anajiro has been running on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website since July 12, 2019. Ten tankobon volumes have been released as of January 2024. Happinet confirmed that the anime will adapt the manga’s storyline instead of the original light novels.
