A new full version of the collaboration visual between Inu x Boku SS and The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies has been unveiled, showcasing the main characters of each respective series.
Once again, the new visual was drawn by Haruko Iizuka, who served as character designer of both anime series. In addition to highlighting Ririchiyo Shirakiin and Byakuya Mimori in the center, the visual adds Inu x Boku SS protagonist Soshi Miketsukami and The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies lead Mira.
The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 9, 2024.
Akiyo Ohashi (The Stranger by the Shore) is directing the anime adaptation, with Yuniko Ayana (BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!!) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Iizuka as character designer, and MAYUKO (Ranking of Kings) as music composer. Bones is handling the animation production.

The manga series from the late Cocoa Fujiwara was serialized in Square Enix’s Gangan Joker from September 21, 2013 to March 20, 2015 and has been collected into three total tankobon volumes. Yen Press licensed the manga series for an English release in February 2024.

Fujiwara’s Inu x Boku SS manga series was serialized in Gangan Joker from April 22, 2009 to February 22, 2014 for a total of 11 tankobon volumes. Yen Press also released the manga in English.
The series inspired a 12-episode TV anime adaptation in 2012 from David Production.
