A new key visual has been released for the upcoming second season of Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez, which will begin airing in Japan on July 6, 2024.

The production staff from season one are returning to work on the second season. They include Taku Yamada (Dropkick on My Devil!!! X co-director, Koikimo assistant director) as director, Shun Menjo (Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress trilogy card fight composition) and Takahito Onishi (Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress Season 3 co-series composer) as series screenwriters, and Tomokatsu Nagasaku (Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress co-character designer) and Hiroyuki Saita (Revue Starlight) as character designers.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast from the first season returning for season two include:

Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Season 2 serves as the D series’s sixth entry, after two Cardfight!! Vanguard seasons and three Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress seasons. Nine D series seasons are planned to be in production, with the ninth season set to premiere in July 2025.
Before the D series titles, there were several Cardfight!! Vanguard anime series such as 2011’s Cardfight!! Vanguard, 2014’s Cardfight!! Vanguard G, and 2018’s Cardfight!! Vanguard. The anime are part of Bushiroad‘s Cardfight!! Vanguard multimedia franchise, which began in 2011 and revolves around a trading card game. Crunchyroll has streamed previous entries of the franchise.

One day, a youth named Akina Myodo from Kanazawa of Kaga obtains a mysterious card after experiencing a vision of planet Cray. That card is proof that he has been chosen as the Fated One of Miracles, and an invitation to the “Fated Clash”, where the last one standing can have their wish granted.
