A TV anime adaptation of the Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata light novel series will premiere in 2025. A teaser trailer and visual for the show have been released.
Studio Deen is producing the Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata anime with Kazuomi Koga (Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 1 and 2, The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases) as director. Other main staff include Keiichiro Ochi (The Many Sides of Voice Actor Radio) as series composer, Takayuchi Noguchi (The Angel Next Door) as character designer, and Kei Yoshikawa (Love of Kill) and Kana Hashiguchi (Classroom of the Elite Season 2 and 3 co-composer) as music composers.
The main voice cast includes Megumi Han as protagonist Sion and Ai Kakuma as Sion’s older sister Mary.
The Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata light novel series is about a magic-idolizing guy who finds himself reincarnated as a baby called Sion in another world. While this world doesn’t have magic either, Sion happens across a strange, magic-like phenomenon at a lake, and resolves to do research into magic so that he can bring it into existence himself.
Kazuki Kaburagi wrote the books, which are published under KADOKAWA’s MF Books label, with illustrations from Kururi. There are currently two volumes, both released in 2020. There is a Mag Garden-published manga adaptation by Tomozo Nishioka.
Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata was originally a web novel, with the first chapter debuting on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2017. It later began publication on Kakuyomu in 2018.
