Kadokawa has revealed the addition of Yoshitsugu Matsuoka and Katsuyuki Konishi to the voice cast of the ongoing No Longer Allowed In Another World TV anime series. The anime began airing in Japan on July 9, 2024.
Matsuoka will voice the modern-looking character Kotaro (pictured left), while Konishi will voice the mysterious Tuxedo Man (pictured right). Both characters will appear in the anime’s upcoming third episode on July 23, 2024.
They join a main voice cast that stars:

Shigeki Kawai (Uncle From Another World) is directing the anime adaptation, with Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Chained Soldier) as screenwriter and scriptwriter, Tomoshige Inayoshi (Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes character designer, Battle Spirits: Kakumei no Galette co-designer) and Asako Inayoshi (Battle Spirits: Kakumei no Galette co-designer) as character designer and chief animation directors, Kenji Terao (Uncle From Another World) as monster designer, and Kenichiro Suehiro (Undead Unluck, Uncle From Another World) as music composer. Atelier Pontdarc is handling the animation production for the series.
The anime is based on the isekai fantasy manga written by Hiroshi Noda and illustrated by Takahiro Wakamatsu, which was first launched in Shogakukan’s Yawaraka Spirits website on October 2, 2019. Ten tankobon volumes have been released as of February 2024. Seven Seas Entertainment releases the manga in English for North America.
