This year’s upcoming Love Live! Superstar!! Season 3 has received a trailer and key visual, as well as the announcement of an October 8 JST premiere date.
The staff credits for the Sunrise production once again include Takahiko Kyogoku as director, Jukki Hanada as series composer, Atsushi Saitou as character designer, Yuhei Murota as original character designer Reiki Kasuga as background art director, Rie Kato as color designer, Tadashi Kitaoka as compositing director, Go Kurosaki (returning from Season 2) as CG director, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa as music composer.
The first two seasons of Love Live! Superstar!! premiered in July 2021 and July 2022. The first season saw five freshmen in the Yuigaoka all-girls high school forming the Liella idol group, with four new characters joining the lineup in Season 2. Season 3 adds Wien Margarete (Na Yui) and Tomari Onitsuka (Sakura Sakakura) to the anime’s cast.
Love Live! Superstar!! is part of the Love Live! multimedia franchise which began in 2013. Another Love Live! series, Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, will see the release of the first entry in its Kanketsu-hen film trilogy on September 6 JST.
