Toei Animation has announced that it will be debuting the first One Piece Spring Summer 2025 Collection at this year’s upcoming New York Fashion Week, as part of its year-long 25th anniversary celebration.
The new One Piece Spring Summer 2025 Collection is created by EDM musician and artist Steve Aoki’s fashion and record label Dim Mak. Its designs are inspired by the long-running episodic anime series and its current Egghead Arc. The fashion line “pays homage to the exhilarating and engrossing world created by Eiichiro Oda” and is also based on protagonist Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hats crew.
An audience of invited guests will preview the new collection in an immersive runway experience, utilizing images and elements from the series. New York Fashion Week is expected to run from September 6, 2024 to September 11, 2024.
One Piece has incorporated many collaborations, events, and experiences throughout 2024 to commemorate the anime series’ 25th anniversary, since it first aired on October 20, 1999. Some of the celebrations include new merchandise collections, Kura Sushi collaborations, Uniqlo apparel, an official U.S. café, Exosphere activation in Las Vegas, and many more.
