Crunchyroll and A PLUS JAPAN have announced the fall 2024 global release of Lord of Nazarick, a mobile turn-based RPG based on the Overlord anime.

The 3D title will allow Overlord fans to experience the main story “from a fresh perspective,” new but canon scenarios, and less narrative-dependent content like “roguelite dungeons,” “boss challenges,” and minigames. Expect more than 50 characters to recruit at launch, as well as five types of classes and three attributes.

Sightseeing types will be able to “Take your time wandering the world and visit the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Carne Village, E-Rantel, and other familiar locations from the anime.” Meanwhile, multiplayer-minded players can team up with others in co-op or vie for leaderboard placements and rewards in PvP. For co-operative play, the press release says that players can “create your own legendary alliance (just like Ainz Ooal Gown!) or join an existing one to take on powerful foes together.”

The other feature highlighted by the press release is Crunchyroll Login. Lord of Nazarick will apparently be the first game to fully implement this feature, which provides special rewards for Crunchyroll Premium members. These include in-game currency, a battle pass, and “exclusive access to activations across Crunchyroll theatrical and ecommerce experiences.”

You can check out Lord of Nazarick‘s announcement trailer below. The Perfect World-developed title will be out on Android and iOS, and pre-registrations for both have started. The main website can be found here.
