A new main key visual, PV trailer, and main theme songs have been revealed for the upcoming second season of KamiErabi GOD.app. The TV anime series will begin broadcasting in Japan on October 2, 2024.

The new opening theme for the second season is “Fuka” by Nanashi no Taro, while the ending theme is “Kofuku no Susume” by LEEVELLES. Both were previewed in the new trailer.
In addition, Misaki Kuno is also joining the voice cast of KamiErabi GOD.app Season 2 as Eko Sasaki, who is a classmate of Lall who is investigating the “828 Incident.”

Kuno joins a returning main cast that includes:

- • Sara Matsumoto as Honoka Sawa
- • Shuichi Uchida as Yutaka Akitsu
- • Natsuko Abe as Chika Nojima
- • Gakuto Kajiwara as Koki Ama
- • Tomori Kusunoki as Iyo Futana
- • Fairouz Ai as Mitsuko Okino
- • Ayane Sakura as Lall
The anime’s original concept is credited to NieR: Automata creator Yoko Taro. Hiroyuki Seshita (Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet Nine) directed the first season, with Jin (Mekakucity Actors) as serie screenwriter and scriptwriter, Atsushi Ohkubo (Soul Eater creator) as character designer, and MONACA (NieR:Automata Ver1.1a) as music composer. UNEND is in charge of the animation production.
Keisuke Ide (Levius director), Yuichi Ishima (Knights of Sidonia co-lead layout artist), and Ryouchimo (Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta director) as assistant directors.
The first 12-episode season of the original anime series aired from October 2023 until December 2023.

Crunchyroll streamed the first season worldwide, outside of Japan, and describes the synopsis as:
The ultimate battle royale for divinity has begun. High schoolers must use their unique powers to compete against each other for the coveted title “God.” But as each brawl becomes more vicious than the last, alliances are formed and betrayals take place. Who will emerge victorious and claim their godly throne?
