The non-credit version of Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister‘s ending animation sequence, which features compelling drawings and character animations of the story’s three Amagami sisters, has been uploaded to KING AMUSEMENT CREATIVE’s YouTube channel.

Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister‘s ED animation is storyboarded and directed by Umamusume: Beginning of a New Era’s Ken Yamamoto (other credits include directing Pokémon: Hisuian Snow and storyboarding and directing Princess Connect Re: Dive Season 2’s opening). Yamamoto is also one of the two key animators.

The romantic comedy anime premiered in Japan on October 3 at 12 AM JST and is streaming on Crunchyroll and Bilibili. It’s based on the Kodansha-published manga by Marcey Naito, which was originally a one-shot that was released in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2020. Kodansha USA describes the manga as:

Uryu Kamihate has had a rough start to life, but plans to forget it all by achieving his dream-matriculating into medical school. But when he arrives at his new foster home, a working shrine, his dream of a quiet place to study goes up in smoke. Not only will he be living with the three beautiful, lively Amagami sisters-but he learns that he must marry one of them and take over the shrine!

The manga’s serialization began in 2021, and 16 tankoubon volumes have been released as of August 2024.
