Aniplex has released the opening animation of the soon-to-premiere Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict.
Primarily presented in monochrome (with some colored aspects for contrast), the STEREROTYPE-produced opening includes shots of Yhwach with The Almighty, Ichigo and Uryu battling, Bazz-B launching an attack on Jugram, and Yhwach grinning whilst in a new form.
The opening song is “Kotoba ni Sezu to mo” by SIX LOUNGE.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict will premiere on October 5 JST. It is the third cour of the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime, which adapts the final arc of Tite Kubo‘s supernatural action manga Bleach and sees Souls Society invaded by the Quincy king Yhwach and his Wandenreich army. The first cour started airing in October 2022, while Cour 2 (Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Separation) debuted in July 2023.
The Bleach manga ran from 2001 to 2016 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and was collected into 74 tankoubon volumes. A special one-shot was released in 2021. The new anime is the first Bleach TV anime since the 2004 to 2012 Bleach series
