A first main key visual, PV trailer, and two new voice cast members have been revealed for the upcoming Babanbabanban Vampire TV anime adaptation. The series is scheduled to premiere in January 2025.

The new cast additions include Mayuko Kazama as Aoi Shinozuka and Taku Yashiro as Ken Shinozuka, who is also known as Franken.

They join previously announced main cast members Daisuke Namikawa as Ranmaru Mori and Yusuke Kobayashi as Rihito Tatsuno.
Itsuro Kaasaki (FLAGLIA, Magical Girl Ore) is serving as the series’ director and scriptwriter, Takahiro Tamano (episode director for We Never Learn: BOKUBEN, BNA: Brand New Animal) as assistant director, Yukiko Ban (A Girl & Her Guard Dog, Shining Tears X Wind) as character design, and Julydex’s Jun Ichikawa (Engaged to the Unidentified) as music composer. Gaina is handling the animation production.
The anime is based on the supernatural comedy manga series, which has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s Bessatsu Shonen Champion since October 12, 2021. Seven tankobon volumes have been released as of March 2024, with an eighth volume due out on October 16, 2024. The manga will also be adapted into a 2025 live-action film.

Babanbabanban Vampire follows Ranmaru Mori, a 450-year old vampire who craves the blood of 18-year-old male virgins. His latest target is Rihito Tatsuno — a teenager from the family who owns the bathhouse he works at.
