Warning: Contains spoilers for Cyberpunk Edgerunners
There’s a good amount of named character deaths in Cyberpunk Edgerunners, the 2022 Trigger-produced Netflix anime set in Mike Pondsmith‘s Cyberpunk universe and inspired by CD Projekt Red‘s 2020 open world RPG Cyberpunk 2077. Thanks to an upcoming release from Dark Horse that’s now up for pre-order, you can soon become the owner of a 14.5-inch tall statue that depicts the defiant last stand of one of those characters for the price of US$299.99.
The Cyberpunk Edgerunners: The Final Moment Premium Statue depicts the confrontation between the small but fearless, gun-toting Rebecca and the hulking cyborg Adam Smasher, though “confrontation” may be overselling it. As Dark Horse’s description of the statue says, it captures a “blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment,” albeit a memorable one, that takes place milliseconds before Rebecca is crushed to death by Smasher’s rapid descent.
According to Dark Horse, the polyresin statue is based on a miniature from Monster Fight Club’s Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Combat Zone board game. It’s 8.5 inches wide, and its “meticulously crafted detail and paint” is done by Monster Fight Club and Substance Model Works.
The Cyberpunk Edgerunners: The Final Moment Premium Statue is expected to ship sometime between May and July 2025. There are only 1000 units, and Dark Horse is accepting up to two orders per customer. The statue is exclusive to Dark Horse Direct.
In other Cyberpunk animation news, Netflix recently teased the existence of a new project, although it’s unknown if the Edgerunners team is returning or if it will be produced by a Japanese animation studio.
