Netflix has released a new series trailer for the upcoming second season of Arcane, which is entitled “Come Play.” The series will begin streaming on Netflix in three acts in November 2024 on November 9, November 16, and November 23.  

Season one of Arcane contained nine episodes and were also released in three parts in 2021 on November 6, November 13, and November 20. GKIDS acquired the home video and digital rights of the first season. The animated series is part of the overall League of Legends universe. 

Fortiche Productions is in charge of the animation production for the animated series, with Riot Games credited with the creative supervision. The second season was originally scheduled to release in 2023, but was delayed. 

Christian Linke and Alex Yee serve as creators for the animated series. Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord co-directed several episodes of the series. 

Meanwhile, the main voice cast for the second season includes: 

  • • Hailee Steinfeld as Vi
  • • Ella Purnell as Jinx
  • • Katie Leung as Caitlyn
  • • Reed Shannon as Ekko
  • • Amirah Vann as Sevika
  • • Mick Wingert as Heimerdinger
  • • Ellen Thomas as Ambessa
  • • Brett Tucker as Singed 

Arcane has won several awards and accolades, including “Best Adaptation” at The Game Awards and “Outstanding Animated Program” at the Primetime Emmy Awards. It was also honored at the Annie Awards.

Netflix describes Arcane as:

Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions-and the power that will tear them apart.
