A new key visual and two additional cast members have been revealed for the upcoming Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! TV anime series, which will begin broadcasting in Japan in January 2025.

The two new cast members include Yumi Uchiyama as Wridra and Rico Sasaki as Mewi. They join Yusuke Kobayashi as Kazuhiro Kitase/Kazuhiho and Kaede Hondo as Marie/Mariabelle.


Meanwhile, the anime’s main opening theme is “Palette Days” by Rico Sasaki and the ending theme is “Yummy Yummy” by Kaede Higuchi and Kanae.
Toru Kita (Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It) is directing the anime series, with Aya Yoshinaga (Project Arms) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, and Madoka Hirayama (I Don’t Like You At All, Big Brother!!) as character designer and chief animation director. Zero-G is in charge of the animation production.
The anime is based on the light novel series written by Makishima Suzuki and illustrated by Shimo Aono, which was first published by Hobby Japan on August 25, 2018 and has released nine volumes as of October 2023. The most recent volumes, starting from volume six, have been released as digital ebooks.

The series originally began as a Shosetsuka ni Narou web novel in 2017 and have also inspired a manga adaptation by Yappen in 2018.
J-Novel Club releases the Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! light novels and manga in English, describing the main synopsis as:
Kazuhiro Kitase’s main hobby is sleeping. Ever since he was young, he would enter a world within his dreams and go on exciting adventures. As he grew older, he became acquainted with a female Elf and the two have now been united through a Dragon’s brand! As he wakes up one day, he notices a familiar figure sleeping next to him…the Elf girl from his dreams?! Join Kazuhiro on his new adventures through Japan with the lovely Ms. Elf!
