A TV anime adaptation of The Unaware Atelier Master light novel series will premiere in April 2025. A teaser trailer and illustration have been released.
The Unaware Atelier Master (Kanchigai No Atelier Meister ~Eiyuu Party no Moto Zatsuyougakari ga, Jitsu wa Sentou Igai ga SSS Rank datta to iu Yoku aru Hanashi~) anime is an EMT Squared production with Hisashi Ishii (I’m Quitting Heroing) as director, Deko Akao (You Are Ms. Servant) as series composer, and Miyuki Nakamura (Mr Love: Queen’s Choice co-guest character designer) as character designer.
Its main cast includes Mikako Komatsu as Kurt, Asami Seto as Yulishia, and Minami Tanaka as Liselotte.
The Unaware Atelier Master by Yousuke Tokino started as a web novel in 2018. The Alphapolis-published light novel series with illustrations by Zounose began publication in March 2019 and has 10 volumes as of August 2023. Its manga adaptation started in late 2019 and is drawn by Naharu Furukawa.
Alpha Manga describes the manga as:
One day, Kurt, a kind-hearted boy, is suddenly kicked out of the Hero’s Party for being “useless”. He finds that his aptitude for weapons, magic, and all other combat-related skills is the lowest rank, so he takes odd-jobs repairing the castle walls and digging for minerals to make a living, where his exceptional abilities are immediately revealed. He proves to be skillful in cooking, building, mining, crafting magical tools–in fact, his aptitude for every skill unrelated to combat had an SSS-ranking! Kurt, however, seems completely unaware to his talent and ends up saving people, the town, and even the country through his unaware actions!?
