Crunchyroll has released a second new trailer for the upcoming ZENSHU original TV anime series, which will begin broadcasting in Japan in January 2025. The trailer debuted during Crunchyroll’s industry panel at this year’s New York Comic Con, who will be streaming the anime outside of Japan next winter.
The new trailer previews ZENSHU’s in-universe anime film, set in a fantasy world The featured voice cast highlighted in the trailer include:

- • Manaka Iwami as Destiny Heartwarming
- • Kentaro Tone as Chingosman
- • Masashi Yamane as Ganger
- • Katsuhisa Hoki as Capitan
- • Sayaka Ohara as Admiral
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast stars:
- • Anna Nagase as Natsuko Hirose
- • Kazuki Ura as Luke Braveheart
- • Rie Kugimiya as Unio
- • Minori Suzuki as Memmeln
- • Akio Suyama as QJ
Mitsue Yamazaki (Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle) is directing the anime, with a screenplay written by Kimiko Ueno (Delicious in Dungeon series screenwriter) and character designs from Kayoko Ishikawa (Sarazanmai). Yamasaki and Ueno are credited as the series creators, along with MAPPA (who is the animation production company), while Ishikawa is also one of the chief animation directors.
Other staff involved in the series include Yoshiteru Tsujino (character designer for various Tengai Makyo games) as original character designer and environment concept artist, Sumie Noro (Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence director) as assistant director, Yukari Hashimoto (A Sign of Affection) as music composer, and Takahiro Ogawa (Bucchigiri?!, Campfire Cooking in Another World with my Absurd Skill) as animation producer.

Crunchyroll describes the main synopsis of ZENSHU as:
After graduating from high school, Natsuko Hirose starts her career as an animator. Her talent quickly flourishes, and she makes her debut as a director in no time. Her first anime becomes a massive hit, sparking a social phenomenon and earning her recognition as an up-and-coming genius director. Her next project is set to be a romantic comedy movie themed around first love! However, having never been in love herself, Natsuko struggles to understand the concept of first love, and as a result, she’s unable to create the storyboard, causing the movie production to come to a standstill.
