riria.‘s “Antanante,” the ending theme song for the Ranma 1/2 anime remake, has received an animated music video.
In the Kayo Nakamura-directed and -written video, a woman recalls memories of the person she likes while having a hearty meal in a restaurant, with the trip down memory lane causing her to tear up in the process. The restaurant scenes are primarily depicted through static shots that allow the character movement to be the main focus.
Among the other staff credits for the “Antanante” video are:
• Creative director: Sohta Ozawa
• Animation producer and director: Negibidama (“Bibideba” animation producer)
• Character designer and animation supervisor: Santa Mitarashi (Candy Flurry manga artist)
• Main animators: Fujiri and Doumei Sai
• Sub-character designer: Harumakigohan
• Image board artist: 10十10 (Blue Archive The Animation opening co- storyboard artist and unit director)
• Background artist: Jellyfishmobu
• Paint supervisor: Amenomawarimichi
The ending credits show the live-action footage — which involved a crew of its own — that served as reference for the animated sequences, with Aino Kuribayashi playing the woman, Aoi Kasuga, and Django Yamada playing the guy she’s thinking about.
