If you’re a fan of hololive’s Sakura Miko (aka, a 35P), you should probably watch her newly released anime music video for the song “flower rhapsody.”

The video, which is directed by Fate/Strange Fake co-director Shun Enokido, is easy on the eye and also features references to the events and relationships that are an indelible part of Miko’s hololive career: GTA 5, Minecraft‘s magma, her MiComet pairing with Hoshimachi Suisei, the Shiraken group, the Hololive Sports Festival, and more. It even features her very recent first solo concert at Ariake Arena (held just a few hours before the MV’s release), which really emphasizes how far the shrine maiden of hololive, who did not achieve fame instantly, has come since her debut in 2018.

Aside from directing, Enokido (whose other hololive work includes Amane Kanata‘s “Oracle” MV and the hololive Alternative teaser) also did the storyboards, unit direction, and some of the key animation. The character designs, animation direction, and some key animation came from Toshiya Kono (Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess co-character designer), and the animation producer is Kento Nishimura (Umamusume: Pretty Derby Season 3, ReGloss‘ “feelingradation” MV). Studio KAI was in charge of the animation production.

“flower rhapsody” is the title track of Miko’s first album, which was released in September.
