Three more main voice cast members have been revealed for the upcoming The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom TV anime series. The anime will premiere in Japan in 2025.
The three new cast members include Kaede Hondo as Mia Adenauer, Takuya Sato as Oswald Parnacorta, and Kohei Amasaki as Julius Ziltonia.
They join Yui Ishikawa who stars as the main heroine Philia Adenauer.
Shuu Watanabe (Shinobi no Ittoki) is directing the anime, with Keiichiro Ochi (Go! Go! Loser Ranger!) as series screenwriter, and Shuhei Yamamoto (Beast Tamer) as character designer. TROYCA is handling the animation production for the series.
The anime is based on the light novel series, written by Fuyutsuki Koki and illustrated by Masami. It was first published under the Overlap Novels f imprint on April 25, 2021 and has released six volumes as of June 2024, with a seventh volume due out on December 25, 2024. A manga adaptation by Mago Ayakita was launched in November 2021.
The The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom series originally started as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel from July 18, 2020 to January 19, 2022.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novels and manga for release in English, describing the general synopsis as:
Philia’s family has produced saints for generations. It’s no surprise that she’s known as the greatest saint of all time — and set to marry the second prince, Julius. What no one expects is for Julius to call off the engagement, claiming that Philia’s perfection makes her charmless and unlikable. To add insult to injury, Philia is packed off to a neighboring country in exchange for gold and resources, forcing her to leave her homeland!
