The upcoming TV anime adaptation of Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! will begin broadcasting in Japan in April 2025, with two main voice cast members being announced, along with the reveal of two new illustrations. Production staff and an animation studio have not yet been confirmed.
The anime’s main cast stars Kanna Nakamura as Melphiera Marchalrayd and Taito Ban as Aristide Rogier du Galbraith. Both characters are featured in a recently released promo video for the manga adaptation’s ninth volume, as well as two new illustrations drawn by the manga’s artist Chika Mizube and light novel illustrator Peperon.
Japanese idol group AVAM will be performing the anime’s main opening theme song.
The series began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel written by Kanata Hoshi on November 29, 2019, before inspiring a light novel series under the Kodansha Ranobe Books f on April 2, 2021. Peperon provides illustrations for the light novels. Three volumes have been released as of April 2023.
A manga adaptation was launched in March 2021, with Mizube handling the artwork.
Kodansha USA releases the Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! manga series in English, describing the main synopsis as:
Like any proper noble lady, one must have certain acquired tastes. For Melphiera Marchalrayd, she just happens to crave a rather exotic protein—monsters! But do not judge! Despite its bad reputation, monster meat can be used in exquisite cuisine and Melphiera is determined to change the kingdom’s opinion of it! Unfortunately, since debuting in society, Melphiera has been struggling to find her perfect match…until she meets the fearless “Blood-Mad Duke” of Galbraith!
