A teaser trailer has been released for the recently revealed Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback (Detective Conan: Sekigan no Flashback) anime movie.

The movie is set to premiere in Japan on April 18 JST. Kogoro Mori and Kansuke Yamato will be central characters.

Gosho Aoyama‘s Detective Conan (titled as Case Closed by Viz Media) manga began serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1994 and has 106 tankoubon volumes as of October 2024. The TV anime premiered in 1996, and the first anime film was released in 1997.

Crunchyroll describes the anime series as:

The son of a world famous mystery writer, Shinichi Kudo, has achieved his own notoriety by assisting the local police as a student detective. He has always been able to solve the most difficult of criminal cases using his wits and power of reason.

Last year’s Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram is the most successful film in the franchise and the 14th highest-grossing movie in Japan.
