A Studio Ghibli background art book, titled Painting the Worlds of Studio Ghibli (Studio Ghibli no Bijutsu), will become available on January 22, 2025 JST.

844 pieces of artwork have been fitted into the 568-page hardcover tome. At the end is an interview with Yoji Takeshige, who has art director credits on films like Spirited Away, Tales from Earthsea, Summer Wars, The Wind Rises, and The Boy and the Heron. Takeshige supervised the collection.

Amazon Japan lists a price of 13,200 yen (~US$87.98) for Painting the Worlds of Studio Ghibli.
