TAIZAN 5‘s Takopi’s Original Sin (Takopi no Genzai) manga is getting an anime adaptation. A teaser visual and announcement trailer have been released.

Takopi’s Original Sin started serialized on Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump+ in 2021 and released its second and final tankoubon volume in 2022. MangaPlus describes the premise as:
Takopi travels from his home of Happy Planet to spread happiness across Earth, but meets the unsmiling Shizuka upon landing. Her friends at school and home life seem to be the source of her somber expression, and the pure-hearted Takopi is determined to change things for the better! But what truths await him when the curtains rise in this shocking drama?!
Update: Provided more details about the manga’s serialization. The original version implied that it was still ongoing.
