Inuhiko Doronoda‘s Kimi to Uchuu Aruku Tame Ni, Tamaki to Amane and Fumi Yoshinaga‘s Tamaki to Amane are the respective first-placed titles in Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga Is Amazing!) 2025’s male and female rankings, Comic Natalie reports.
The Kodansha-published Kimi to Uchuu Aruku Tame Ni, Tamaki to Amane depicts the developing friendship between the delinquent Kobayashi and the eccentric transfer student Uno, with Kobayashi finding himself inspired by Uno’s way of living. It was the winner of the Manga Taisho 2024 award earlier this year. The manga began serialization in June 2023 on &Sofa and has three tankoubon volumes as of October 2024.
Meanwhile, Tamaki to Amane‘s cover text describes it as an “Anthology of Short Stories Exploring the Many Facets of Love Through Family, Romance, and Friendship.” The title started serialization in Shueisha’s Cocohana in November 2023.
The full results of the male and female rankings and many others are published in TAKARAJIMASHA’s Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2025 mook, which went on sale on December 13, 2024 JST. TAKARAJIMASHA also publishes light novel rankings with its Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! (This Light Novel is Amazing!) mooks.
