BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict will conclude on December 28 JST with the consecutive broadcast of its last two episodes (39 and 40 overall in the BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War anime adaptation).
This “1-hour special” approach for the finale was also used for the previous cours, BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War and BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Separation.
Besides the air date of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict‘s last two episodes, it was announced that the young versions of Jugram Haschwalth and Bazz-B would be voiced by Marina Inoue and Chiaki Kobayashi, respectively.
BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict had its premiere on October 5 JST, while the previous cours began airing in October 2022 and July 2023. The anime adapts the last story arc of Tite Kubo‘s Bleach manga, where Soul Society fights for survival against the forces of the Quincy king Yhwach.
The manga was serialized from 2001 to 2016 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and was collected into 74 tankoubon volumes. A special one-shot was released in 2021. The first Bleach TV anime aired from 2004 to 2012.
