Yen Audio has announced an audiobook adaptation of The Eminence in Shadow light novel series. The audiobook will be released in June 2025, with the voice cast to be announced at a later date.
The dark fantasy isekai light novel series is written by Daisuke Aizawa and illustrated by Azunishi, which was first published by Enterbrain on November 5, 2018. Six volumes have been released as of October 2023.
The series was first serialized on Shosetsuka ni Naro in May 2018. A manga adaptation, spin-off manga, and video game were also released. Yen Press releases the light novels and manga adaptation in English.
The anime’s first season premiered in October 2022 and ran for 20 episodes until February 2023. The 12-episode second season aired in October 2023 and ran until December 2023. An anime film titled The Eminence in Shadow: Lost Echoes was announced shortly after the conclusion of season two.
