A new main key visual, PV trailer, and additional cast have been revealed for the upcoming Aquarion: Myth of Emotions TV anime series, promoting the show’s upcoming “Kako Shinwa-hen” story arc. The anime will premiere in Japan on January 10, 2025.

The trailer previews the series’ upcoming “Kako Shinwa-hen,” which is animated in 3DCG and depicts the world’s past myths around 12,000 years ago. It also highlights the anime’s main ending theme “Kokuhaku” by AKINO of Bless4.
The newly added cast members (whose Romanized names are not confirmed) joining the series include:

- • Yui Ishikawa as Sedona
- • Nao Toyama as Haida
- • Ryota Osaka as Sukuna
- • Shiori Kawabata as Futago
- • M.A.O as Murua Satene
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:
- • Yumiri Hanamori as Sakko Otori
- • Azumi Waki as Amaha Momohime
- • Makoto Koichi as Rimiya Tsukishiro
- • Aki Toyosaki as Toshi Hatano
- • Konomi Kohara as Sayo Ichiki
Shoji Kawamori (Aquarion Evol co-creator and chief director et al., Macross: Do You Remember Love? co-director) is credited as the series creator, supervisor, and Aquarion designer. Kenji Itoso (Santa Company chief director et al., Fire Force Season 2 ending 1 and 2 director, Macross Delta Zettai Live unit director) is directing the anime series, with Sadayuki Murai (Natsume’s Book of Friends, Knights of Sidonia) as series screenwriter, and Masashi Kudo (Bleach) as character designer.
Takashi Ohmama (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury) and Shu Kanematsu (The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses) are serving as the music composers. Satelight is in charge of the animation production.
The original Aquarion anime, Genesis of Aquarion (or simply Aquarion), aired in 2005 with 26 total episodes. It was later followed by 2012’s Aquarion Evol and 2015’s Aquarion Logos. All of the shows were produced by Satelight. Eight Bit co-produced Aquarion Evol while C2C co-produced Aquarion Logos.
The series has also inspired the 2007 film Aquarion: The Movie and the 2015 OVA Sousei no Aquarion Evol.

Crunchyroll will stream Aquarion: Myth of Emotions worldwide outside of Japan, and describes the main synopsis as:
The Aquarion, a giant mechanized fighting suit, is humanity’s best weapon against interstellar threats.
