The upcoming Chinese animated series False Memory (Jiyi Guanli Ju) has received an official trailer ahead of its release in the second half of 2025. The 90-second video has many punchy action cuts, but the indie show also looks to be visually compelling beyond the fights.
False Memory is a Flint Sugar and Studio Tumble co-production, made “in collaboration” with Bilibili. Previously, there was an 18-minute animation with the same title and a concept trailer.
An English dub of the standalone False Memory was uploaded on YouTube by Extra Terrible, the media company where the dub was recorded, and had a description that read:
When the world around you isn’t what it seems, you may be in the midst of a Bug Man; powerful being who can warp the very nature of one’s memories. The Memory Collectors are here to bring order… whether we like it or not.
The previous False Memory had BlackLine and Shuyu Li sharing direction, storyboard, and screenplay credits.
