During the Jump Festa ‘25 event, it was announced that Mutsumi Tamura is joining the cast for the upcoming second season of ‘Tis Time for ‘Torture,’ Princess as Sakura Heartlock. It has not yet been announced when season two will premiere or which staff it will have.

Yoko Kanamori (Great Pretender Episodes 14 and 21 director and storyboarder) directed season one, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun) as series screenwriter, Toshiya Kono (Schwarzesmarken sub-character designer) and Satoshi Furuhashi as character designers, and Masaru Yokoyama (Horimiya) as music composer. PINE JAM handled the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main cast includes:

- • Chikahiro Kobayashi as Excalibur
- • Shizuka Ito as Torture Tortura
- • Tessho Genda as the Hell-lord
- • Anna Nagase as Youki
- • Honoka Inoue as Inki
The anime is an adaptation of the original manga series, written by Robinson Haruhara and illustrated by Hirakei, which began serialization on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ online magazine on April 4, 2019 and has released 16 tankobon volumes as of October 2024.
The first season of ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess aired in Japan on January 9, 2024 and will end on March 26, 2024.

Crunchyroll will stream the second season worldwide, and describes the first season as:
